Jarrell’s keeping law enforcement in the family

Law enforcement is a career which runs in the Jarrell family. Last year, Bucky Jarrell, a 2001 graduate of Wade Hampton High School, graduated on December 17 from the Cobb County, Georgia Police Academy after completing 23 weeks of intense training. Before he became a solo deputy, he had field training which required him to ride with a training officer, being scored daily on his performance. He was graded weekly by his supervisor. Dear Editor,
I have some very strong concerns and questions about things that are happening in Colleton County. On Saturday, July 24, 2010, after a long and extremely hot day of work, I went to pick up my grandchildren from their aunt’s home. It was 10:30 in the evening while sitting in a van, parked on private property, I saw a black expedition and five men dressed in black. There could have been one more, I didn’t see however. They jumped out with long black flashlights and their hands near their guns.
