Lowcountry Mopars to join Walterboro Cruisers at Sonic

| Walterboro residents should be on the lookout this Sunday, November 1st for vintage Chrysler enthusiasts from Lowcountry Mopars of North Charleston. The group will join the Walterboro Cruisers at the Sonic restaurant on Robertson Boulevard from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. with an invitation for all auto clubs to join the informal event at America’s Drive-In. |
According to Walterboro Cruisers President David Thomas, the social event welcomes oldies, newbies, and anybody that wants to just come out and look at the cars.
“As long as Gar Linder is gonna be there anybody can come,” said Thomas laughingly.
According to the Lowcounty Mopars website, the group is a family oriented group, helps to support numerous community goals including the Happy Days and Special Times charity which is known as “The Loving Answer For Children With Cancer.”
Lowcountry Mopars has had cruise-ins at many Lowcountry area Sonic restaurants and has chosen Walterboro as there next stop.
