Deal or No Deal game show brings stardom Green Pond

| The Hamilton family shares its roots in Green Pond, South Carolina and is sharing the stage this week on the game show entitled, “Deal or No Deal” with show host Howie Mandel. The show airs from November 9 through November 13, 2009 on ABC at 7:30 p.m. each night. |
According to Tim Hamilton of Green Pond, he and the Hamilton family were in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania attending their twenty-sixth family reunion in July. It was at that time that representatives from the TV show “Deal or No Deal,” with host Howie Mandel made contact with the family about the family concept for the show.
Family member Alta Perkins said that thanks to the continuous hard work and many interviews with George and Deborah Frazier, members of the Hamilton family living in Fredericksburg Virginia, it became a reality that we would be on the show. On August 28th the Hamilton family of Green Pond, South Carolina traveled to Mystic, Connecticut to tape “Deal or No Deal”.
“It was a memorable once in a life time opportunity we wanted to show the country what family is all about, God, true love, and togetherness,” said Perkins. “It was an awesome family affair.”
Hamilton said that he gained a real respect for the television industry and an appreciation for how committed the entertainment industry is on making sure that everything is correct before it airs. He said that one of the things the family wants to do with any awards is to take the family on a cruise for the family reunion.
