| Allen Funeral Home 1905 Hampton Street, celebrated it’s ribbon cutting ceremony and grand opening celebration on Sunday Nov. 8, 2009 at 4pm. |
The celbration began with the ribbon being cut and words of encouragement by Colleton County Councilman Floyd Buckner, assisted by City of Walterboro Economic Development Coordinator Hank Amundson. The keynote speaker was Rev. Major Brown, Pastor of Cumberland and Isaiah United Methodist Churches. Greetings were given by Mrs. Vivian Galloway, and remarks were given by Rev. Dr. Allen Galloway, Rev. William Carpenter, and City Councilman Franklin Smalls, and Rev. Bryce D. Jamison presided.
