According to Parade Chairman Herman Bright, Sunday’s parade may not have had the greatest number of participants in their twenty-four year history, but every aspect of the event went well. |
“It was a great parade with wonderful participation,” said Bright. We had churches, community groups, schools…it was well received.” I have gotten numerous comments about the parade and it organization and setup. Walterboro Shrine Club as a whole did an outstanding job of crossing all of the t’s and dotting all of the i’s.”
Bright said he was especially thankful to the parade judges and everyone else that either participated or observed. The judges this year were the same community members who volunteered last year, so Bright said they have really seen many great tributes.
